Do I need a doctor's prescription for a test?

Many routine tests can be done on request, while some tests and scans need a doctor's prescription. Send us an enquiry and we'll guide you.

Which tests need fasting?

Fasting blood sugar, lipid profile, glucose tolerance tests, fasting insulin and an abdominal ultrasound usually need fasting. Water is allowed. Use the "Fasting needed" filter on this page to see them.

How soon will I get my reports?

Most routine blood and urine tests are reported the same day. Specialised tests and cultures take longer. The usual report time is shown on each test.

Can I get a test done without an appointment?

Yes, for most lab tests. For scans and special tests, please call or send an enquiry first so we can tell you the preparation and timing.

What does a test cost?

Add the tests you need to your list and send the enquiry. Our team will reply with current prices and any package that may save you money.

Should I stop my medicines before a test?

Don't stop any medicine unless your doctor tells you to. Tell the lab what you take, especially diabetes medicines, blood thinners and thyroid tablets.
